There are two types of postcard marketing programs being marketed online today and both forms are successful if conducted properly but one is more profitable than the other. Here they are:

The Replicated Program - The first is called a “replicated program” where you mail out postcards getting people to buy the exact same program you purchased. Most of them cost about $98 - $249 and they send you an instruction manual showing you how to work the program, where to buy postcards (printing), postage, mailing lists, etc, and direct your new customers to your replicated website. With these replicated programs you receive a license to use their system and every sale you make you get to keep the full amount of the sale. Most of these types of program work (not all of them) but candidly it’s chump change if this is all you get and do!!

The Products Program - Then there is the “products program” that shows you how to market real PRODUCTS that have various net profit margins and this is where you can make some very serious coin (see my sample postcard below in Example #1 of this type of program)! BUT THIS IS A HORRIBLE EXAMPLE! Are you wondering why? You never use UV-coated pretty postcards. NEVER! Oh, they’re great for dentists and your local pizza parlor but not for postcard marketing. That’s right; you actually have to purposely make them ugly and in plain text with maybe two to three sentences or paragraphs of content. This is what works very well. See my Example #2 below. I told you; there is a lot to learn and it all isn’t just common sense or using advertising principle that you may have learned in the past. But I am here to teach you the right way!!!

Let’s break it down as to how much NET profit is made for each postcard mailed:

$285 / 500 = 57-cents net profit per card mailed.

But look at this…

5000 Postcards Mailed = 50-sales @ $97 = $4850 - $1500 costs = $3350 Net Profit

$3350 / 5000 = 67-cents net profit per card mailed.

You just made an extra 10-cent per card mailed. The more you mail; the more you make!
